The last year has seen a steady and controlled expansion of the GK team with the addition of Tim O’Donnell, Arthur Rashbrook and most recently, Colin Watson. All are designers with considerable background and qualifications in various construction disciplines, they bring the combined experience of the GK team to over 150 years.
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible service to our clients, we have invested in the very latest AutoCAD software, including licences of AutoCAD LT 2009 and full versions of AutoCAD 2010. Recent projects have also seen us making full use of the Solidworks 3D modeling and draughting software to produce manufacture drawings for compound curved soffits and fascias, resulting in a “fit first time” solution being provided for a structure which had moved way out of tolerance due to self weight. In addition to these investments, we have also systematically upgraded all of our hardware to ensure that computer hiccups do not hamper our productivity.
Despite the tough times being faced by the construction industry, GKDC's ethic of hard work, excellence of service, uncompromising and outstanding quality, has seen the team awarded challenging and high profile projects such as the King's Cross redevelopment and Oakhill House in Hildenborough.
